A Tale at Every Turn

In everything we do, in every conversation we have,

In every caring touch, sigh of relief or frustration,

A lovers tiff, neighbor aunt's judgement, 

Hearty laugh between best friends, whimpers of the bullied,

Chemistry between ex-lovers, awkward silence with your crush,

Sonnets of the poet, tears of the calf,

Decree of war, request for asylum from the child washed ashore,

Cries of the burning bride, Screams of the Sati,

Carvings in the caves, sculptures in the temples,

In the thoughts of suicide, echos of an empty home,

There is a thought being knitted, a memory being weaved, a Story waiting to be told!
